Wave's upper silhouette is designed with a single principle in mind: each undulation interlocks precisely with the unit above. Stack them luminous, matte, or mixed — the result is always coherent.
Solo — Stool or light
A standalone piece. Use it as a seat, a side table, or a floor lamp with RGB ambiance.
Duo — Low composition
Two stacked units form a low column of light, ideal as a side table or sculptural accent.
Tower — Up to 5 units
At full height, Wave becomes a floor-to-ceiling light column — a room-defining architectural element.

Not a stool. A wave you sit inside.
Douglas Mont conceived Wave in 2004 as an answer to a simple question: what happens when a functional object is also a light source, and also a module? The sinuous upper edge - its defining gesture - is not decorative. It is structural: the key that locks one Wave into another when stacked, creating forms that read as architecture.
In the Luminous version, the translucent polyethylene becomes a diffuser. The RGB LED fills the interior with colour - from the warmest white to saturated red, blue, or green - transforming the stool into a floor lamp, a mood object, a spatial marker. In matte solid finishes, Wave reads as pure sculpture.
