A living material.
A lasting object.
For Domoluce, choosing polyethylene is not a compromise. It is an act of radical responsibility — transforming what others discard into objects worth keeping forever.
SPIKE MODULE, 2024 — bio plastic + recycled PE
"Waste is what has lost its value. By creating beautiful, collectable objects from this material, we guarantee that they will never become waste again."

Our Ecology
Three pillars
of our ecology.
Domoluce's environmental approach is not a certification or a checklist. It is woven into every design decision, every production choice, every seasonal edition.
01
Recycled Polyethylene
Polyethylene is one of the most recyclable plastics in existence. Domoluce sources co-product material from industrial flows, refusing a "perfect, frozen" plastic in favour of a living, evolving material that bears the mark of its origin.
02
Seasonal Éditions
Each series of production becomes a dated edition. If in spring 2026 the recycled batch gives a "blue granite" aspect to the Adam module, that series will be unique. We stop fighting what recycling offers and start celebrating it as a signature of rarity.
03
Glocal Production
A single design, manufactured locally on three continents. Domoluce's 3D mould-duplication strategy with Rotomod eliminates intercontinental freight — the single greatest source of carbon in the furniture industry — without compromising quality.
The Concept
Les Cuvées
Saisonnières
Inspired by the language of natural wine, Domoluce embraces the seasonal vintage. Each production run draws its palette from the specific co-product batch available at that moment in time.
Rather than bleaching or chemically tinting recycled material to force a standard colour, we accept — and amplify — what the recycling process gives us. No two editions are ever identical.
When you own a Domoluce piece, you own a witness to recycling at a precise moment in time. Ecology becomes narrative. Constraint becomes rarity.

Industrial Strategy
Designed globally.
Made locally.
Zero compromise.
Rotational moulding is unusual: once the 3D digital files are mastered, physical moulds can be duplicated and installed at manufacturing partners worldwide. Domoluce calls this the "Glocal" model.
Production for Europe runs at Rotomod, France. As demand grows, identical moulds will operate in North America and Asia — eliminating the transcontinental shipping of large, air-filled furniture pieces that makes the industry's carbon footprint so acute.
Seasonal colour variations from local recycled streams are not corrected out; they are documented, named, and released as editions.
Production Hubs
Europe · North America · Asia — local manufacturing, identical quality
Chemical Dyes
Colour comes entirely from the recycled material itself — never forced
Object Lifespan
UV-resistant, weatherproof polyethylene — designed to outlast trends
Recyclable Material
PE is among the most recyclable plastics — the object can return to the cycle
Durability by Design
The most ecological object
is the one that
never becomes waste.
"I believe in the object that endures, that transforms, that accompanies. I believe in modularity as a freedom — not as a constraint."
— Domoluce, Manifesto
UV & Weather Resistance
Polyethylene is virtually indestructible outdoors. Objects designed for indoors and terraces equally, across decades.
Collectable Value
Each seasonal edition is dated and limited by nature. Secondary market value increases as collections age and the runs become historical.
Modular Longevity
Pieces are designed to be reconfigured, combined, and repurposed over time — not replaced. Modularity is built-in obsolescence resistance.
End-of-Life Cycle
When the day comes — decades from now — the material fully re-enters the industrial recycling loop. Nothing is lost.
Own a moment.
Own a material.
Own forever.
Each Domoluce piece is a dated witness to recycling — unique in its texture, collectible in its edition, and built to accompany you across a lifetime.
