One node. Four arms. Every angle a tetrahedron.
In 2004, the Genetic system was built around a single principle: one node whose four arms extend at the exact angles of a regular tetrahedron - the most stable structure in nature. Connect two nodes and they find their angle instinctively. Connect twenty and the structure begins to look like something alive: a molecule, a nervous system, a constellation.
As a standalone object, the node is already complete - a light that works on the floor or suspended from the ceiling. In the Luminous version, the translucent polyethylene body diffuses a warm, even glow in every direction. In the Bioplastic version, the flecked texture of recycled natural fibres makes the form compelling in full daylight, without any light source at all.
Expanding the system

Four bulb forms mount directly onto the node's arms — each one changing the scale, the light distribution, and the silhouette of any configuration. A drop. A cylinder. An arch. A block. The same tetrahedral logic, new possibilities.
The Bioplastic version
Same form.
Different nature.
The Bioplastic version uses a composite of recycled natural fibres and polyethylene — a material developed specifically for objects that need to be both durable and environmentally conscious. The flecked texture is not a finish: it is the material itself, visible and honest.
